Reiki Energy Healing
Reiki is a Japanese technique that is used to heal physical and mental trauma, and to support mental clarity and spiritual well-being. In Japanese, the word "rei" refers to a higher intelligence that permeates all living and nonliving entities and guides the inherent functioning of the universe. The word "ki" refers to the nonphysical energy that flows through everything that is alive, including plants, animals, and human beings—because of this, ki is also often called "life force energy," and is known as qi or chi from other lineages. The combination of these two words is what defines reiki as "spiritually guided life-force energy."
As I Reiki Master, I help to channel life force energy through my hands unto another. It's said that the aforementioned spiritual guidance enables the Reiki to flow through the affected parts of the subject's energy field and charges them with positive energy.
It raises awareness in and around the physical body where negative thoughts and feelings are contained. This causes the negative energy—such as stress, anxiety, physical pain, sadness, confusion, etc.—to loosen its grip, allowing the energy of Reiki to swoop in and clarify the energy pathways.
I am able to offer both in-person and distance Reiki for both individuals and pets. My sessions also include chakra clearing/balancing and I may use other tools, such as crystals.

* Distance reiki sessions are just as powerful as in-person sessions. The energy travels exactly where it is needed. It is your choice of preference.
** In-person sessions: I come directly to you within 15 miles of Vancouver, WA. If you live outside of that area, there is an additional travel charge.

Tristan is such a skilled practitioner. I have had reiki done several times by different people, and while they were all good experiences, the sessions with Tristan were the only ones where I could actually feel the heat and a buzz of energy coming from his hands. He really has a way of putting people at ease with his genuine, disarming personality and his gentle and supportive presence. I have terrible headaches and in one session he was able to sense where my headache was the worst and decrease the pain significantly. My only complaint is that I can’t carry him around in my pocket for when I need relief from stress or pain! If you haven’t had a session with Tristan, please consider giving yourself this experience. The sessions are so beneficial, but most of all, when you meet him you will get the sense that you have met a very special soul, and you’ll feel happy just being in his presence. I know I do!

Tristan has performed reiki on my cat Jackson multiple times over the past year with great success. Jackson is almost 18 years old with chronic kidney failure, arthritis, and neurological issues. A year ago, his vet told me that he was dying and I needed to prepare - soon. During this scary time, Jackson would have whole body tremors and when Tristan did reiki on him, the tremors would cease. Other times, I could tell he was in pain, despite his pain meds, and the reiki provided by Tristan had him relaxed and purring instead of him hobbling around the house, howling.
